Today finally IPL auction was successfully completed where bidding gone as high as $750000. Today Kieron Pollard and Shane Bond were both sold costliest with a whooping price of 750000$ which is approximately Rs 3.42 crore.
There was a four-way tie between four teams – Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders for Pollard, the Mumbai side eventually winning it via a silent tie-breaker bid, this rule was being introduced for the first time in the IPL. But the bidding amount was not disclosed by the committee as told by Lalit Modi that Bidding amount was a secret as per rule. In the similar way pacer from New Zea Land was in controversy line due to battle between Kolkata Knight Riders and Deccan Chargers.
Wayne Parnell was taken by Delhi Dare Devils by US $610,000 while Kemar Roach was taken for a whooping biggie $720000. Mohammed Kaif was taken for 250000$.
Overall 67 stars were sold while 56 kept remain sold.
