Today Caressa Cameron Miss Virginia won Miss America 2010. She outlasted 52 other contestants t o win this title. 22 years old Virginia Journalism student won Miss America contest just few hours back.

Miss California Kristy Cavinder, of Orange became the first runner up and won $25,000 as a winning amount, while the winner Caressa won a whooping amount of 50000$.

She was crowned the title by reigning Miss America Katie Stam. This young woman danced on danced to “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas at the beginning of the show.

Caressa Cameroon had already won 2000$ amount from previous talent competitions, before the final three result. Caressa outlasted her opponents in swimsuit, evening gown, talent and interview competitions. She was wearing a bright yellow evening gown on this occasion.
