Pakistan Cricket Board barred Mohammed Yousuf and Younis khan from playing any cricket from his team. WHile in another huge step, Shoaib Malik and Rana naved banned for one year.
This firing from PCB came after the winless tour of Australia and almost punished seven senior players of Pakistan Cricket team. Pakistan Cricket Board also implemented the recommendations of an inquiry committee formation for an evaluation for such poor performance in Australia.
Shahid Afridi and the Akmal brothers were fined Rs2-3 million [$24,000-35,000] for various misdemeanors and put on six-month probations – announced earlier today.
The inquiry committee will comprise of PCB chief operating officer Wasim Bari, board member Wazir Ali Khoja, team manager Yawar Saeed, director of cricket operations Zakir Khan and Rizvi.
Apart from the above mentioned suspensions, coach Intikhab Alam, assistant coach Aaqib Javed, the then manager Abdul Raqeeb, physiotherapist Faisal Hayat and analyst Mohammad Talha were also interviewed for same.
