Dance India Dance Season 2 winner is Shakti Mohan – Dharmesh sir first runner up

So here is the winner of Dance India Dance season 2 and its first female winner – Shakti Mohan. Shakti grabbed the maximum vote followed by Dharmesh Yelande, Punit and Binny Sharma.

Shakti Mohan from Terence ki Toli bagged this year Sunehri Taqdeer Ki Topi. Dharmesh was also a big contender for the same. but he never managed it at last in heart of DID fans.

Though Punit and Binny was nowhere in scenario from many weeks, the real competition was between Dharmesh and Shakti Mohan. But this year it was chance for first lady dancing star Shakti Mohan.

Not confirmed, but it seems Punit was only in top three because he was the only one left representing Remo Sir. So he had to be it, just like Siddhesh last year( strictly personal opinion). Binny with her cute smile came at fourth position.

Shakti Mohan went on to win a cash prize of Rs 50 lakhs, and she also got an opportunity to shoot for a promotional music video with Bolly Superstar Akshay Kumar for his upcoming film Tees Maar Kha. She was also presented with a beautiful new WagonR by Maruti Suzuki.

Congrats all for being top dancers of India.

IPL awards live now – Hosted by Shahrukh khan and Karan

IPL awards ceremony just begun at 7:30 PM local time in Grand Hyatt Hotel Mumbai.

This IPL awards night 2010 show is being hosted by Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar.

As per IPL – IPL 2010 is turning out to be a cricket carnival of magical proportions. Drama, talent, excitement, innovation are conjuring a treat for cricket fans. Cricketâ€™s been the spell, and the wizards have been the men with the bat and ball. Magic on the field surely deserves an equally magical awards night. Champagne, celebrities, camaraderie. And a toast raised to an unmatched league of extraordinary gentlemen.

Viewers choice awards category includes best bowler, most sylish player, best commentator, best catch, best captain, best fielder, best batsmen and best fan friendly player.

This event has started and the results of this will be discussed tomorrow here. Well and also this will not be telecast on Set max.

New Maruti Wagon R launched by Maruti Suzuki – Features, price and specs

Today Maruti Suzuki launched a new version of its famous model Wagon R. This hatchback WagonR is also known as “The Blue-Eyed Boy”.

Improved interior space, Precise gear shifts, unlike the previously lousy quality, Optional ABS & Dual Airbags on the VXi variant, Maruti’s stellar after-sales quality & network and Better road manners, especially urban ride quality are some of the important features of this New model.

This powered by a K-Series engine (k10B) Wagon R model will cost you around 3,28 lakhs Rupees.

This is an all new platform that will do excellent duty across the globe. This car has been heavily localized to match Indian preferences. There are three trim levels – The LX & LXi are pretty much similar to the outgoing model. It is the VXi where all the action is. An in-dash CD player with 4 speakers, 4 power windows, tilt-adjustable steering, keyless entry with iCats engine immobiliser, central locking, rear wiper & defogger, electrically adjustable mirrors, 60:40 splitting rear seat, 14 inch wheels (13 on the lesser variants) and optional ABS + Airbags.

Maruti has increased the length of this Wagon R car by 75 mm (to 3,595 mm) while the wheelbase increases by 40mm (to 2,400 mm). The new WagonR is also higher & wider at 1700mm & 1495 mm respectively.

IPL finals 2010 – Clash between Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings on date 25th April

The two finalist of Indian Premier League has been decided. They are Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings who rose like a phoenix in this game. And Mumbai Indians is the team which has never left the top position in the IPL points table.

Yesterday in the big game 2nd semi-final of IPl 3 – Chennai Super Kings defeated Deccan Chargers by 38 runs. Thanks to one of the best spell of Bollinger who took four wickets and declared the player of the match.

Playing first, Chennai disappointed a lot and no player crossed the 50runs mark with Badrinath scoring the highest 37runs. Skipper Dhoni managed only 30 runs. Chennai anyhow managed a good defendable score of 142 runs.

From Deccan side, two world’s best opener opened for Deccan Chargers but the performance of Chennai on Fielding and bowling kept them astounded and surprisingly all best players merged team Deccan Chargers never reached the target. Their journey stopped at merely 104 runs giving victory to Chennai Super Kings and easy way through to the grand finale.

Hence the two finalist are Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super kings. Its the deal between Indian Best captain and Indian best batsmen. Lets see whats happen in the field out there. Watch the live action of CSK vs MI on 25th April at Mumbai and of course youtube.

DC vs CSK live Score – Chennai lose early wickets against Deccan

After winning the toss, Chennai Super Kings decinded to bat first and Murali Vijay and Hayden stepped out for the live action. But this pair again failed as Hayden again got caught at only 8 runs.

Following Hayden, Vijay and Raina also sent back to pavilion by the mighty Deccan bowling. Thanks to the three catches dropped by Deccan, otherwise Chennai could have been in some disastrous position much worse than now.

Nevertheless Chennai is now steady after the loss of three early wickets and were at 62/3 at end of 10 overs with Dhoni and Badri out in the field.

Chennai is presently managing to score an average of 9 runs currently by hitting a four in every over. Since the major wickets are gone, the only hope for Chennai is skipper Dhoni who is in pitch with firm batting.

The second semifinal match of Indian Premier league is going to start in a few moments from now. This second semifinal match is being played between Chennai Super Kings vs Deccan Chargers.

The key point about this match – Chennai has been through semifinals in all three seasons while Deccan is current IPL champion.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first and batting commences in two minutes from now.

Two major changes for Chennai Super Kings – Murali in for Kemp, Anirudha in for Tyagi.

Deccan Chargers have made three changes, bringing back Herschelle Gibbs, Ryan Harris and RP Singh. Mitchell Marsh, Chaminda Vaas and Rahul Sharma are the ones to miss out the semifinals.

New sun images photos released by NASA Solar Dynamics Observatory SDO

As per NASA, their Solar Dynamics Observatory is returning new never seen before images of Sun. This will help them to understand in better way the behavior and its dynamic processes.

Richard Fisher, director of the Heliophysics Division at NASA Headquarters in Washington told that – These initial images show a dynamic sun that I had never seen in more than 40 years of solar research. He also told that SDO will change our understanding of the sun and its processes, which affect our lives and society..

SDO is the most advanced spacecraft ever designed to study the sun – told NASA. During its five-year mission, it will examine the sun’s magnetic field and also provide a clear understanding of the role the sun plays in Earth’s atmospheric chemistry and the climate.

Since launch, engineers and scientists have been conducting testing and verification of the spacecraftâ€™s components. Now fully operational, SDO will provide images with clarity 10 times better than HD television and will return more comprehensive and significant science data faster than any other solar observing spacecraft.

Solar Dynamics Observatory will send 1.5 terabytes of data back to the Earth each day, which is equivalent to a daily download of half a million songs onto an MP3 player.
