Against the Zimbabwe players, once again Indian players succumbed and gave the second match against the host team very easily. Zimbabwe got this comprehensive victory in just 38.2 overs.
India batted first and scored only 194 runs after losing 9 wickets in full 50 overs, Zimbabwe managed to chase this simple target by losing only 3 wickets in the 39th over.
India skipper raina told about the team defeat that – We didn’t bat well. We should have probably scored 260-270.. they bowled well. We are not getting a good partnerships from the openers. We have to learn from it. The openers didn’t get runs in last two games. Over all we haven’t batted well. Sri Lanka are a good side. Let’s hope we play well.
Till now, India has won 1 match against Sri lanka and lost two matches against Zimbabwe. if India lost their third match, then they will be out of tournament. Zimbabwe is at top spot at present.
