India’s official entry to Oscars is Peepli Live

So finally, the movie name is decided and its non other than one of the biggest hit of the year – Peepli Live. Peepli Live has been selected as the Indian entry to oscars.



In the Best Foreign Language Film category, Vasanthabalan’s film ‘Angadi Theru’ lost to Bollywood Peepli Live in the race to be India’s official entry to this year’s Oscar Awards .

A total of 27 movie were selected for this race. They were Singam, Angadi Theru, Madrasapattinam, Raavanan ,Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya, Paa, Raajneeti, My Name is Khan, Three Idiots and Pazhassi Raja and few others.

Angadi theru was the closest rival of all and has direct competition with Peepli Live. But the winner is finally Peepli Live.

Peepli Live is nothing but satire on farmer suicides in India and takes pot shots at the media, politicians and bureaucrats. After the selection the officials told that – the film is a reflection of India’s culture and ethos.

endhiranOne of the most expected blockbuster of this year Endhiran or Robot in Hindi will be released on first of October. Advanced booking for the show has already started at various movie halls.


Online booking has started by various Movie theatres across the country. Already Abirami 7 star has started booking days back and other cinemas started the booking from today onwards.

Famous Cinemas of South like mayajaal Cinemas, Devi Cinemas, Sangam Cinemas and Sathyam Cinemas has started the online booking of movie Endhiran ( Robot in Hindi).

This movie features Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya as the actress in leading role. As per speculations, movie is hit before the release itself and will go beyond boundaries.

Till now advance online booking has only started for Tamil version Endhiran. Ticket booking has not started for its Hindi Version Robot. Te online booking for same will start soon.

CSK vs RCB live in CLT20 semifinals

Chennai Super Kings will meet Royal Challengers Bangalore in semifinals of the Champions League T20 series. Chennai earlier defeated Warriors in an important A group match and claimed their position is semifinals.


In total 20 overs, CSK scored only 136 runs with a loss of 6 wickets. Mike Hussey made 50 runs of 37 balls, while Murali vijay managed 37 runs of 27 and skipper Dhoni 31 of 21 balls.

Fighting back, Warriors only managed 126 runs in total 20 overs. In the last over, Warriors needed 15 runs to win but they could manage only four runs and lost two wickets.

After this crucial win, Chennai confirmed their status in next round of CLT20 which is semifinals. So they will meet here with other IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Despite the loss, Warriors will meet South Australia in other semifinals. They needed 109 runs to confirm their sopt, but they managed 128 runs, so they are through to the semifinals.
