Holi which is considered one of the mega festivals of India will be celebrated on 19th and 20th across all parts of the country in India.
For West Bengal, Holi 2011 will be observed on 19th March while for the rest of the country Holi festival will be celebrated on 20th March 2011.
One day prior to Holi, Holika Dahan is organised where Holika in form of wood branches is burnt and is marked as the beginning of holi.
