World cup quarter final schedule 2011 – India meets Australia

So after the last match of the first round is over in which India defeated West Indies by good margin, the stats for QUarter finals are out.



In group A Pakistan team is leadin the points table which is followed by Sri Lanka, Australia and Team New Zealand.

In Group B, South Africa is leading the points table at present which is being followed by India, England and team West Indies.

Thus matches will be like this, first quarterfinals on March 23 between- Pakistan v West Indies at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.

2nd Quarter Final – India v Australia (Match E) on March 24 at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad

3rd Quarter Final – New Zealand v South Africa (Match F) on March 25 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur

4th Quarter Final – Sri Lanka v England (Match D) on March 26 at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo

If India saves 40-50 runs that will help them a lot better in there bowling & batting..an dcertainly they have exceptional fielders like raina, yuvraj singh, virat kohli,zaheer khan,bajjii,gambhir doni, behind the wickets…this will certainly reduce the pressure and they will be able to play more freely in pressure games.

  6. India cannot take anything for granted. To get a berth in the semi finals India will have to have 320 runs in the account. Best of luck
