News circling around in Mollywood that Mamta Mohandas will be under wedding knot soon. She is going to be engaged in few months.


But the name of the groom is still a mystery and he is a guy based on Bahrain is only single piece of information about him.

Mamta Mohandas is one of the hottest actress in Malyalam cinemas who has also worked in some Tamil and Telugu movies.

Apart from this she is also a goof playback singer and till now has got some of the best cine award like two Filmfare Awards, Best Female Playback Singer in Telugu and for Best Actress in Malalayam in 2010.

Her wedding will probably be in upcoming year (in 2012) . We wish her very best of luck for her marriage.

UPSC result 2011 of civil services preliminary exam is out

Union Public Service Commission Preliminary examination results is out today. This result of prelims has been declared just a few hours back.


This civil services Prelims examination was held on 12.06.2011 and the full list with roll number is out in pdf form.

Those candidates who have qualified for the mains need to apply again in the Detailed Application Form (DAF), which is available on the website of the Union Public Service Commission www.upsc.gov.in or http://upsconline.nic.in/daf/mainmenu.php

The results of UPSC civil services prelims can be checked at the official website upsc.gov.in and the direct link to the pdf is http://upsc.gov.in/exams/written-results/csp/2011/csp2011wqpress.pdf.

OBC quota clarification done by supreme court regarding cut off marks

Yesterday on August 18th 2011, Supreme court made few clarification regarding Other backward classes cut off marks and seats.



Supreme court announced that Other Backward Classes quota cut off marks will be not more than 10% less than that of general category cut off marks.

A petition was filed by PV Indersan who was a former professor of IIT Madras, regarding clearing the doubts and remove the discrepancies occurring.

This order regarding OBC clarification was passed by a bench headed by Justice RV Raveendran and also told that admission of 2011-12 will not be affected by this order.

After this extent of clarification, now it seems it will be easier for universities for implementing OBC reservarions in their universities.
