Today in the 14th match of Indian Premier League season 3, Royal challengers Bangalore defeated Sachin led Mumbai Indians. RCB defeated MI by 7 wickets today.
Today Mumbai Indians won the toss and chose to bat. No players from Mumbai Indians crossed 25 runs. So they anyhow managed a score of 151 runs and set a target of 152 for RCB to chase.
Royal challenger Bangalore started pretty well. Openers Kallis and Pandey pertnership contributed 85 runs which was a big platform to provide. Later on Uthappa and Kohli joined the victory race and ease the win.
Kallis made his 7th fifty in today’s match and he scored 66runs of 55 balls. Kohli scored two consecutive sixes of Harbhajan ball which made a big difference.
After winning this match, Royal challengers are at top spot in points table with 6 points followed by Mumbai Indians with 4 points.
ohh… yeah mah favourite team of the tournament ……
