Dr. Daggubati Ramanaidu has won Dadasaheb Phalke Award for the year 2009. President Pratibha Patil awarded this film producer D Ramanaidu for rendering outstanding contribution to the world of Indian cinema.

He is also famous for listing in The Guinness Book of Records as the most prolific producer with 130 films. He has produced movies in languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali and Telugu.

Ramanaidu was born on 6 June 1936 to Daggubati Venkateswarlu and Lakshmi Devamma in Karamchedu in so called Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. His wife name is Rajeshwari and his son D.Suresh Babu runs Suresh productions.

He has already worked with many superstars like Chiranjeevi, Rajnikanth, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Rekha, N. T. Rama Rao, A. Nageswara Rao, Sivaji Ganesan and lot more.

His latest movies includes Bendu Apparao R.M.P (Telugu, 2009), Kausalya Supraja Rama, Bombaiyer Bombete (Bengali, 2003), Harivillu (Telugu, 2003), Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein, Aaghaaz, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and lot more.

Yes the movie is out in the theatres and thousands of NTR fans have already watched this movie on the first day first show basis. And here comes the review as per the first movie watchers.

As per the fans, this movie doesn’t comes with the top performance of NTR and this time NTR fans seems little disappointed. Movie is ok but doesn’t ring your bells and hit your mind and soul.

This movie has romantic theme with little bit actions and a small essence of comedy. But whatever, NTR is looking totally awesome and aura of Kajal will lead you to gape and gawk.

Krishna (Jr NTR here) is a dynamic guy from a rich family and is in love with Indu. when Kajal (Bhoomi) is being forced into a marraige with the villain’s son Ajay , she sends her love NTR Jr. to save her out of the situation and it follows new love triangle and then real twist comes.

Apart from the lead characters, others include Sri Hari, Samantha Kota Srinivas Rao, Brahmanandam, Ahuti Prasad, Raghu Babu, Venu Madhav, Mukesh Rishi, Sana, Surekha Vani and Pragath. This movie is a good family entertainer and ok to watch once. Rating should be 2 star but when Kajal and NTR is there, I recommend 3 stars.

The Bolly movie of the week is none other than our serial kisser’s movie Crook-It’s Good To Be Bad. Lead role being performed by Emraan Hashmi,Neha Sharma and Arjan Bajwa. Direction is by Mohit Sur, Production by Mukesh Bhatt and music by Pritam Chakraborty.

Crook review and rating begins- Movie is all about the Indian-Aussie racial war and the love story of our Emraan and Neha who is a student activist who tries to bridge the cultural divide between the two communities. The story further twists when Neha brother comes into picture who is a self proclaimed protector of Indians in Australia and some local goons.

Emraan falls in love with Neha and thus get involved in all this and tries to give little contribution to dilute the tension between both race.

Emraan has done similar roles like this one already in Jannat. How the bad-boy turns into a good one after falling in love and how he handles the situation on the streets of Australia which are buzzing with an underground war between Indian and Aussie gangs.

Mohit has presented this current headliner in a quite gentle manner representing both sides with equal weight. He has tried to narrate this tale with characteristic grit and edginess. He has depicted both sides as equal racist and handled it in balanced way.

Well what the present situation of Bollywood movies is going, this movie really depicts a different genre and new topic. This is something fresh different from typical love story movie like Anjaana Anjaani ( recent releases). Mohit has got something very new to present to people.

Movie is full of action, romantic scenes, Australian roads and of course catchy songs. Its definitely quite impressive from the core and a worth watch( not twice). It deserves a rating of 3 star.
