Ananya Chatterjee and Rituparno Ghosh awarded for Abohoman

57th National film awards 2010 winners name has been declared and this year best feature film category award has been won by Kutty Srank.

Ananya Chatterjee has won the best actress in leading role in female category while Amitabh bachchan has been awarded best actor ( male) for his performance in PAA.



Rituparno Ghosh won the best director for the movie Abohoman( Ananya for Abohoman too). Best supporting actress won by Arundhati Nag for Paa, Best supporting actor is Farooq Shaikh for Lahore, Best Hindi film – Paa, Special jury award – Srikar Prasad (for editing Kutty Srank, Pazhasi Raja & Kaminey), Best Film with Social Message won by Delhi6.

The most popular film award was won by Aamir’s 3 Idiots and the best Malayalam film award won by Pazhassi Raja.

Brindavanam audio album released today

Made under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations – Brindavanam movie audio songs was released for the public today. Hottest rising star of the moment Kajal Agarwal is the leading actress in this movie.

This movie has been directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju and the actors in lead roles in Brindavanam are NT Rama Rao, Kajal Aggarwal and Samanta.

This movie is a family, romantic entertainer with some good stunts in it. And this time NTR will be with flower and a flute in his hand.

Brindavanam audio album has following track list . The first one is the movie theme song followed by Yuvakula, Eyi Raja, Nijamena, Vachadura, Chinnadho Vypu, Mojjarey, Brundavanamadi Chinnadho, and Oopirage.

Other supporting actors include Kota Srinivasa Rao, Raghubabu, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmaji, Sana, Surehkavani. The songs are really pleasant to listen as told by sources.

Dabangg movie review and rating

Action packed movie with six pack Salman Khan is back with his new version Dabangg. A really entertaining and stuntful movie ready to rock you from inside is back on big screen.

Actor Salman Khan is back after hid old hit movie Wanted in the same storyline but packed with some new styles. Its like those of Rajinikanth and Chuck Norris style that will make you say ” Aich” and force you to whistle at front seat of the movie theatre.


Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan playing the lead role and Vinod Khanna is father of both Khan brothers who are actually again brother in movie too. Vinod Khanna is his step brother and Dimple Kapadia is his mother.

Dialogues unbelievable and really fresh ones and its delivery – If its Salman in his mood, then who can beat him. Totally Gundaa style police waala with little bit of corruption but of course in positive version.

Other movie characters will remind you totally of his last action packed Wanted. Mahesh manjrekar is there, Vinod Khanna is there but the best part which gives this movie a plus one point is daughter Shatrughan Sinha – Sonakshi. indeed a fresh face for Bollywood and will definitely get some good movies after this as well. In her desi style she can obviously beat Katrina or Kareena whoever she meets.

Chulbul Pandey aka RObin Hood Pandey has done fairly good job with his acting. Only the weakest point of this movie is the script. It could have been better and well I think after Once upon a time in Mumbai, its the only movie of the year to watch guarantee full entertainment. So definitely this movie deserves a cool 4 star rating.

Akshay Kumar will be 43 on his birthday 9th September

Akshay Kumar aka Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia will turn 43 tomorrow. In Indian bollywoood, he is among the leading top actors. He took birth on 9 September 1967 and so tomorrow he will be 43 years old.

His biggest hits tat boosted his career during th 90s were Mohra, Khiladi series with Khiladi, Sabse Bada Khiladi, Dhadkan and others. Other movies that brought success to his feet were Mujhse Shaadi karoge and biggest comedy blockbuster in India ever Hera Pheri which was followed by sequel phir Hera Pheri.

Last year in 2009, he was awarded Padma Sri for his contribution in Indian Cinema by the Government of India. From a simple karate teacher to Indian bollywood, his journey of his success is remarkable. He is among those actor who grew on his own and never had some parental legacy or something to rely on.

His upcoming movies that will rock India Cinema soon are Action Replay, Hello India, Tees Maar Khan and Patial House and Thank You. His recent release was Khatta Meetha in which he paired with Trisha as Sachin Chitkule but this movie was considered among a medium mediocre movie.

Soundarya Rajinikanth wedding pics or marriage photos

Younger daughter of Rajinikanth – SOundarya tied the wedding knot with Ashwin yesterday on 2nd of September 2010. Soundarya entered the wedding lock with Ashwin Ramkumar who is a Stanford graduate, at the Rani Meyyammani Hall in Chennai yesterday.


The guests included some actors, directors, some politician and other high dignitaries of India. Actress Sri Devi and her husband Boney kapoor was also among the main guests.

Soundarya Rajinikanth was in green silk saree which later changed into a red nine-yards saree. Ashwin was in white shirt and a dhoti.

UFC 118 live streaming Edgar vs Penn 2 and Couture vs Toney live and results

The mega event of Ultimate fighting championship of the month i.e. UFC 118 has started now and some of the greatest fights are expected today in the battle yard.

Today the showcase of the UFC is the match between UFC lightweight champ Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn and Randy Couture vs. boxer James Toney. Till now many results have also been out as many game has concluded.



In the first match Mike Pierce defeated Amilcar Alves via submission (cross-body armbar) – Round 3, 3:1. And Greg Soto defeated Nick Osipczak via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). In the match between Dan Miller and Salter Dan Miller def. John Salter via submission (anaconda choke) – Round 2, 1:53.

Nik Lentz defeated Andre Winner via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27) and the last match whose result is out is Joe Lauzon beat Gabe Ruediger via submission (armbar) – Round 1, 2:01.
