India won 2nd ODI against South Africa – Man of the match Munaf Patel

Thanks to the incredible bowling of Indian pace bowler Munaf Patel who grabbed 4 wickets and just hit the opposition very hard.



India defeated South Africa by just one run. South Africa succumbed at 189 runs only while target set was only 191 runs to beat India.

This was a stunning collapse of South Africa and credit goes to Indian team specially Munaf Patel who claimed two wickets in 43rd over.

Munaf patel was declared the man of the match and India has leveled the series 1-1 in this 5 match series.

Other than Munaf Patel, Zaheer Khan took 2 wickets while Nehra, Harbhajan and Rohit Sharma claimed one wicket each.

Ind vs SA one day match live scoreboard – India vs South Africa 1st ODI live now

India and South Africa are playing their first one day match today. Till now three test match series and one 20-20 match has been completed and till now India has more edge over the home team.


Today South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first, batting first they lost their first wicket in form of Smith who got caught one ball of Nehra.

Following the wicket, Ingram came down and on other end opener Amla is still right there to make a big target for opposition team.

South African players that are yet to come on field are AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, DA Miller, J Botha, WD Parnell, LL Tsotsobe, M Morkel and DW Steyn.

But after the loss of one wicket Amla seems to be in fire when he hit three consecutive fours of Nehra balls in 6th over. And the final score before leaving is 44 for 1 in 5.5 overs.

Ballon d’Or award 2010 winner for best player is Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona

The inaugural FIFA Ballon d’Or award 2010 has been won by none other other Lionel Messi of Argentina and FC Barcelona.


Last year also he was adjudged FIFA World Player of the Year award and the Ballon d’Or prize which now has been merged to a single title.

Due to his incredible performances in last year, Lionel Messi was awarded this best player of 2010 award today.

Thus he has won consecutively this award twice in a row which is indeed a very rare thing for any player.

His super performances in La Liga where he has almost scored a goal per match and also prevailed goals for his team mates. Congratulations for this.

In the first round of auction, Sourav Ganguly th oldest in the IPL auction remain unsold. Sahara Pune warriors purchased Yuvraj for 1.5 million dollars.

Mahela Jayawardene has been grabbed by Kochi for USD 1.5 million. Zaheer Khan bought for USD 900,000 and talented Lankan opener TM Dilshan for USD 650,000 by Royal challengers Bangalore.

Ross Taylor went for USD 1 million (Rs 4.6 crore), Kevin Pietersen by Deccan Chargers for USD 650,000 , Yusuf Pathan taken by Kolkata Knight Riders for a staggering USD 2.1 million.
