World series Hockey 2011 will see live Dhanraj Pillay action

Its official that star player of Indian hockey will see DHanraj Pillay in action once again after years of gap.

Hockey star of last decade will again be in fields with his hockey and ball moving tricks and will be an opportunity to see the hockey in a different way.


After DHyan Chand who brought stars under name of India Hockey, the next player who brought most accolades for country is DHanraj Pillay.

May be he could be the reason who can bring viewers to watch this first time organised world series hockey.

Dhanraj is now 43 years old and it will be tough for him but good for Indian viewership. Lets see how he performs. He has performed earlier in 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004 Olympics.

This World Series hockey (WSH) is brought to you by joint venture of Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) and Nimbus Sport from December 15, 2011 to January 22, 2012.

CLT20 2011 points table – Mumbai and warriors leading

Till today only Royal challengers and Somerset are the team that have played only single match, the others has already complete 2 initial clashes in this series.

And as of now Mumbai Indians and Warriors are the leading point scorer and are at the top spot in the points table of Champions League 2011.

Kolkata Knight Riders and Trinidad & Tobago rare the last teams in their group with 0 points and negative Run rate.

Warriors are having the best run-rate till now in both its team and among overall other Teams that are playing in CLT20 2011. They are top with 1.275 Run rate.

And in the last match of today, Chennai Super Kings defeated Cape Cobra by four wickets. Thanks to Bravo who played consistently throughout the game.

US open 2011 results of Tennis – Djokovic is the winner

In the grand finale of US open 2011 lawn tennis men’s championship, Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal in 4 sets in which clearly Djokovic was the clear dominant.


He defeated Nadal by 6,2 6,4 6,7 6,1. So here you can see Nadal anyhow managed only set and Djokovic won his first US Open title.

This match which was played at Arthur Ase stadium lasted for almost 4 hours where Novak Djokovic brought a big upset for Nadal fans.

In women’s championship, Samantha Stosur defeated Serena Williams in straight sets with 6-2 and 6-3.

In men’s doubles finals, Jurgen Melzer and Philipp Petzschner defeated Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski of Poland.

In women’ doubles finals, Vania King and Yaroslava Shvedova Liezel defeated Huber and Lisa Raymond of USA.

CLT20 2011 fixtures and schedule

Champions league Twenty20 for this year 2011 has been scheduled from 19th of September and will run through till 09th October 2011.


The teams that will be participating this year are Cape Cobras, Chevrolet Warriors, South Australian Redbacks, New South Wales Blues, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Auckland Aces, Trinidad & Tobago, Kolkata Knight Riders, Leicestershire Foxes and Ruhunu eleven.

First match that will be played on September 19th which is day 1 is between Trinidad and Tobago vs Ruhunu eleven and Kolkata Knight riders vs Auckland Aces.

There are total 6 teams in qualifying pools designated as Pool A and B and each of this team will play two qualifying matches, and the top team in each Qualifying Pool, along with the next highest ranked team will move through to the Group stage.

Semifinals of this series will be played on October 7th and 8th and the finals on October 9th. In 2009, New South Wales Blues won this championship and 2010 it was taken by Indian team Chennai Super Kings.

Ind vs Eng 2011 1st ODI live- Ajinkya Rahane made debut

After the disastrous season of India going throughout the Indian Tour of England where India was thrashed in all matche s by England, here arrives a “may be survival time.”

India was clean-sweeped by England in all four test matches and this humiliation was followed by one Twenty20 match.


Today India is playing against England in the first One day international against England in this tour. Both team has come up with few changes.

And the big worry for team India today is that, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is not in the team for today’s match. This has came has a big upset for Indian fans.

WWE money in the bank 2011 results – John Cena lost to Punk

Just few hours back Pay-per-view clash Money in the bank event of WWE of 2011 ended in some of the most unexpected results depressing the fans out there.

The worst lost was of Cena who lost the WWE championship to CM Punk. After seemingly difficult task for Punk, he finally defeated Cena in his hometown.


And another major twit of the day was the victory of Kelly Kelly over Brie Bella. She defeated Brie Bella who was taking Bella very lightly.

And Christian dream finally got realized when Christian defeated Randy Orton and became new World Heavyweight Champion.

In the mega event of the day MITB clash Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Bourne and others, it was Del Rio who yet again got the mega title for 2011.

Mahendra SIngh Dhoni turns 30 today

Indian cricket skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has turned 30 today. He was born on July 7, 1981 in capital city of Jharkhand that was earlier Bihar.

He is most known for the World cup championship that he has contributed to team India under his captaincy. He is considered don of the greatest Cricket captain India has ever had.

Apart from batting, he is well known for his wicket-keepering and at present he is the one of the best in this category also.

Some match winning knocks of Dhoni are still one of the most memorable moments in Indian cricket history. He is famous for his leadership skills and some random but good decisions that he has yet taken.

In grand world cup finals Indian skipper played a captain role and made the country dream of getting the second world cup true. He remained unbeaten and here we have the footage of the last over he played.
