TOday in the final match of Hero Honda Hockey World Cup, defending Champion Germany will meet Australia. This final match of FIH Hockey World cup 2010 is live from Major Dhyan Chand Stadium today.



In their semifinal match, Australia and Germany defeated their opponent Netherlands and England respectively. Germany defeated England 4-1 while Australia managed fighting victory by 2-1.

From last two world cup finals, both teams are clashing. But both time Germany has defeated Australia and has taken two continous World Cup for them.

Other matches that were played today was between New Zealand vs South Africa for 9th and 10th spot. For 7th /8th positions India clashed with Argentina and for 5th/6th positions South Korea will take on Spain today.

Today Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to field first. And the start for Kings XI Punjab was very bad. They lost their first wicket Bisla in second over itself. He was runout by Manhas.

Other good batsman in Kings XI Punjab are skipper Sangakkara, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathand and mohammed kaif. They will bat down the order.

Top 12 of American Idol Season 9 announced- Includes Didi Benami and Casey James

On Thursday , the top 12 for Indian Idol season 9 was announced. This night brought some of the most unexpected upset for many fan of singers performing on the stage there.

All top 12 contestants shared their views after being selected on top 12 of America’s biggest talent (singer) hunt – American Idol. The top 12 contestants who where selected are Didi Benami, Lacey Brown, Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Paige Miles, Katie Stevens and Tim Urban.



Crystal Bowersox told that “I don’t have to prove anything to anyone except to myself: that I can always do better than my personal best and just try to be better each time. I’m just trying to beat myself.”

Four contestants who didn’t make it to the Top 12 of American Idol are Alex Lambert, Lilly Scott, Todrick Hall and Katelyn Epperly. AFter hearing many unexpected expressions were seen on fans of these emerging singers. But anyways they never made it.

Lahore’s suicide blasts in Pakistan – Many soldiers killed

Today more than 50 persons injured in a suicide bomber attack in lahore district of Pakistan. Dead persons mostly includes soldiers and military officials.

Apart from 50 injured persons 20 persons have died in blast by attack of suicide bomber. The numbers of dead persons can increase as its not confirmed by officials.


 

Police official Mohammad Shafiq told reporters in Lahore – “There were two suicide bombers who attacked two military vehicles within the space of 15 seconds.”

Till now five bomb attacks has been known only in this week which includes a car bomb suicide attack on a police intelligence building in Lahore Monday that killed 13 people and and bombing at a U.S.-based aid agency that killed almost 6 persons.

Hollywood actor Corey Haim dead at 38 years age

Murphy’s Romance and the lost boys actor Corey Haim died today at age of 38 years. A spokes person from Providence St Joseph Medical Centre confirmed his death early morning today.

The details of his death has not been disclosed yet and it will be revealed after the Post Mortem of Corey Haim dead body.

Corey Ian Haim was a Canadian actor, known for a 1980s Hollywood career as a teen idol. He starred or co-starred in a number of films such as Lucas, Murphy’s Romance, The Lost Boys, License to Drive and Dream a Little Dream.



He had also be recognised for his conribution in movie like Crank 2, The Pick Up, The girl, Trade In, American Sunset, Terminal Hotel , Shark City, Lost Boys: The Tribe, Universal Groove, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star and many more.

 

Haim was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the son of Judy, an Israeli-born data processor, and Bernie Haim, who worked in sales. Corey Haim was a good teen star who will be remembered always.
