IIT Bombay has announced the exam dates and other necessary information for the next Graduate Aptitude test in engineering for 2013.
Graduate Aptitude test is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee).

Commencement of Online Application submission 1 Sept 2012 Last date for: a) Submission of Online Application Form (website closure) 30 Sept 2012 b) Receipt of printed version of ONLINE Application at respective GATE Offices 8 Oct 2012 Announcement of results 15 March 2013

Gate 2013 score formula
A new formula has been introduced this year for calculating the gate score of candidates which is different from that of last year.
Important Notes
Admit cards can only be downloaded from GATE websites from 5th December 2012.
Female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee for GATE 2012.
