ISRO GSLV D3 launch failed in India

Launch of Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle D3 in India failed today on Thursday. One of the most ambitious project by ISRo failed after the rocket attained 60 kilometers height.


 

This Rocket was set to launch 2220 kg GSAT -4 state of the art satellite that carried Navigation and Communication Payloads into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit( GTO).

IN GSLV -D3 launch, first ISRO indigenously developed Cryogenic upper stage was to be tested.

Rocket stopped emitting signals after few minutes of the launch and which confirmed the launch failure to the ISRO team.
