Mosiula Faasuka Tatupu in short Mosi Tatupu died this tuesday at a hospital in Attleboro, Mass. He is the father of Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu.
Mosi Tatupu was a National Football League running back who during a fifteen year professional career played for the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams.
The former USC star played in the Pro Bowl in 1986 and helped the Patriots reach the Super Bowl in the same season.
In his school time Tatupu was a standout player at Punahou School where he set many Hawaii state rushing records.
Mosi was the head coach at King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, Massachusetts. Former New England Patriots Center Pete Brock was one of his Assistant Coaches
