Sunny Deol Right yaa wrong review and rating

Filed under: Entertainment — Tags: — admin @ 8:35 pm

After a long long – really long gap , you will see the last hit Indian fame Sunny Deol in big screen. He had almost vanished from the Big screen for many days. And he is now back with a new suspense thriller dramatic movie Right yaa wrong.

Cast: Sunny Deol , Irrfan Khan, Esha Koppikhar, Konkona Sen
Director: Neeraj Pathak

Review- A very less hyped Irfan khan movie having a good masala blend with the story twist involved in it is Right yaa wrong. After a long time you will see a good directed movie with some out of track of Bollywood typical style.

Definitely this movie is much better than many movie released after last big hit and entertaining movie 3 idiots. This is the synopsis as per the movie production house –
“This thriller is about an intriguing tale of two police officers – Ajay Singh (Sunny Deol) and Rane (Irrfan Khan).

Ajay’s wife (Esha Koppikhar) is found brutally murdered. Ajay is the prime suspect and his friend Rane is in charge of the case. Rane’s younger sister Vidya (Konkana Sen), is Ajay’s only support as both men fight it out against each other.

Soon, the whole investigation transpires into a mystery locked with secrets behind which lies an astonishing discovery.

As wits and mind games take over the whole operation, Ajay comes out with his own theory to solve the mystery.”

Well coming towards this movie, it will give you a preview of a suspense or thriller movie, but its basically a drama movie. And it will slowly slowly turn out to be a rather thriller-turned-drama movie.

The film best part is well written script and the direction by Neeraj Pathak. Indeed the lead role is of Sunny Deol, but the way Irfan delivers his dialogue, the whole applause will go towards irfan khan with its decent witted character in this movie.

In few words a well written movie with a decent story and neat acting a very entertaining indeed. Definitely a paisa vasool after a long gap.

Cast: Jagapati Babu, Priyamani, Keerthi Chawla

Director: Karthikeya Gopala Krishna

Review-
Directed by Karthikeya Gopala Krishna this is a complete romantic and action packed movie. Here jagapati babu has an ambition and he can go to any extent to achieve his goals.

In the long run of chasing his goals, he met Priyamani who is the leading actress in this movie. And well what to say about Priyamani, she is damn hot in this movie exposing more than ever. So, this movie seems attract a lot of youths.

Not only Jagapati Babu, Priyamani will also be seen in the character of a girl who will be fighting to achieve her ambition.

Music by Chinni Charan is neat with some good dance number also. Story and screenplay are by Shyam Manohar looks repeatative but anyhow decent. Dialogues penned by Shyam and Maduri Madhu are superb with some new one also. So overall a good romantic action packed thriller is ready to bedazzle you.

Abhay Deol Hindi Road movie review and rating

Filed under: Entertainment — Tags: — admin @ 7:58 pm

Again with a slightly different concept, twisted moments, haphazardly mixed up scenes but in one word a different taste for Indian movie lovers – that’s whats the speciality of Abhay Deol Road’s movie and even all movies in which he acts.

Call him a Patriarch of Odd movies with his old number if you might have heard 1:40 ki last local, Dev D, Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Socha na Tha. The concepts and stories behind all these movies were out of typical Bollywood style movies. And again with all these mixed up stuffs, he is back with Road movie.

First have a look on Star Casts of this movie.
Cast: Abhay Deol, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Satish Kaushik, Mohammed Faizal
Director: Dev Benegal
Rating : **** star

Review- The lead role played by Abhay Deol as Vishnu, who is a restless young man, itches to escape his father’s faltering hair oil business.
abhay deol road movie review and rating

An old truck arrives, which Vishnu sees as his ticket to freedom. He offers to drive the antique Chevy across the desert to the sea, where it has been sold to a local museum. As he sets off across the harsh terrain, he discovers he’s not merely transporting a battered vehicle but an old touring cinema.

Along the way, Vishnu reluctantly picks up a young runaway, a wandering old entertainer and a striking gypsy woman. Together they roam the barren land, searching for water and an elusive fair. The journey turns dire when they are waylaid by corrupt cops and a notorious water-lord.

The key to their freedom is the eccentric collection of films and the two forty-year-old film projectors in the back of the truck. As in 1001 Nights, if the films are good, they live and move on. If the films are boring, they face death in the outback.

The journey proves transformative for each of the travelers, but especially for Vishnu who discovers life, love and laughter on the Indian Road.

As per Joe Leydon, this movie is a modestly amusing dramedy that is all the more pleasant for its fleeting detours. After 3 idiots, this will be the first movie that is going to fully entertain you.

As per acting Abhay Deol is God, Direction by Dev benegal is flawless. This movie is not your regular candy floss mainstream flick, but its lightly hatke and that why this movie will hit you and hit you very hard. The only problem everybody faced after watching this movie was that it runs only 95 minutes. This lovely, wise, witty and soul stirring film has irrestible charm of becoming an art-house hit.

vinnaithandi varuvaya review – Tamil movie review and ratings

Filed under: Entertainment — Tags: — admin @ 10:29 am

Love Love love and love is the theme of the story. The movie is basically a love story with a typical ending. The maximum part of movie revolves around the pair trying to propose each other.

Cast: Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Uma Pathmanaban, K.S. Ravikumar, Prakash Raj
Director: Gautham Menon

Asking about the Genre of the movie, Its not a drama, action or any thriller its Romance.

Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa is a love story. Karthik (Silambarasan) and Jessie (Trisha) meet each other…..and it’s love at first sight for Karthik.

Not having seen a beauty such as Jessie in years passed by, Karthik is love struck, dumbstruck, and spellbound…all at once. Jessie is the girl next door, in the typical sense. Secretive glance make way to obvious glance and the two get acquainted. What begins with an unexpected friendship breaks boundaries to take shape as Love.

Unable to hold his emotions, Karthik doesn’t allow his feelings to rest for too long when he proposes to Jessie and that leaves her in a perplexed state.

Silence from both ends…….Followed by regretful thoughts…..And decisions to be made………..

As love choose its own way, familiarity make ways for a healthy yet simple relationship between Karthik and Jessie. Just when life seems perfect surrounded by the indescribable feeling of romance, Jessie brings out her uncertainly over the relationship leaving Karthik in a perplexed state this time around

Simply put – Love is beautiful but it can be painful too…..

The director has put only one action scene in the entire movie. Screenplay is quite slow and dialogue delivery are worth noticing ( of course dialogues as well.

The ending of this movie is very odd leaving audience perplexed at the end but nevertheless movie is watchable and a good time pass.

Inkosari review – Inkosaari Telugu movie review and rating

The youth film involving fun, love, romance with some comedy until a big twist comes in this movie. All starcast including the lead actor Raja goes plans for a reunion with his friends. What happens next is the theme of the story.

Cast: Raja, Manjari Phadnis, Richa Pallod
Director: Suman Pathuri
Genre: Comedy, Romance
Language: Telugu
Rating – 2 and half star

Review – It story about a group of friends who are on verge of passing from college and one of them plans to make a reunion every year.

However, with this big time all of them get entangled in their own busy world until Ajay lands in India from US. He convinces all his friends for a reunion and plans for a 7 Day vacation to relive their college days. What happened in these 7 days? Along with time, did they change too and how will it affect other? What happens when some unresolved issues once again surface? That concludes the rest of the story.

The film has a simple script but the presentation by director Suman is very neat and definitely look well directed. No over acting – just plain and simple. Screenplay needed some improvement and dialogues full of cliches – many of them are predictable before they say.

Over all Inkosari is a pretty decent movie and a good time pass which you will really enjoy watching with your friends but the story doesn’t have something new, but of course with a different style.

Karthik Calling Karthik review or kartik calling kartik ( KCK) movie review and rating

Filed under: Entertainment — Tags: — admin @ 10:13 am

After a long time, finally you will get some different taste of Indian Typical common movie theme with Karthik Calling Karthik. The revised version of Amol Palekar Choti Si Baat with some extra masala mixed.

Before going any further deep, have a preview on big starcast of the movie.

Cast: Farhan Akhtar, Deepika Padukone, Ram Kapoor, Shefali Shah

Director: Vijay Lalwani

Genre: Comedy, Thriller, Romance

Rating – 3 and half star.

Reviews – Karthik ( Farhan) is an introvert person and his life goes unnoticed even by his office colleagues and specially her dreamgirl Deepika whom he has written many unsent drafts of love.

His life just changed with a phone call of a person named same karthik. This is from where movie gets his name. Because all of a sudden karthik achieves everything that he wants.
Kathik-Calling-Karthik-review rating
After the revelation of original Karthik who wants him to be mean again send back to his misery and how from that point a rise of phoenix takes place is the base of the story.

With his Super hit movie Rock On followed by a average Luck by Chance and then KCK, Farhan is gently pushing himself in true actor category. Acting wise he is brilliant. About Padukone, leave everything upon her and you will get worst, Unlike her acting in Love Aajkal, here Director Vivek Lalwani has induced her best acting part ( including glamour) in the movie.

Screenplay lacking grace, editing could have been more artistic. Storyline different from current trend and finally song Uff Teri Ada by ALyssa Mendonsa ( daughter of Loy) is already a hit among youths.

A good, entertaining, comedy thriller which will be pleasant to watch and this is Karthik Calling Karthik ( kartik Calling Kartik)
